2024 Season Information

•     Number plates, you will need to decide what numbers you would like on your plate (please check with the club so we can make sure that someone hasn't got the same number), you cannot have numbers 1-9 and they must be 2-3 digits, once decided you can either order a number plate from Thrila (pinned at the top of our page) or Rush Industries please also make sure your plate is the correct colour. https://rushindustries.com.au/shop/ols/products/east-pilbara-bmx-club-number-plates

•     Pants and Jerseys, you do not have to purchase the club jersey, as long as you wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt you will be fine. Club jerseys, polos, pants and plates can be purchased from Thrila https://thrila.com/collections/east-pilbara-bmx we have every size jersey in rego if you would like to try on sizes before you buy one

•     Transponders, if your child is 8+ they will need to have a transponder on their bike, they can be purchased from the canteen and need to be activated before race night.

•     AUSCYCLE membership, you will need to have an auscycle membership to be able to go on the track, this includes both training and race nights. There is a 4 week free trial https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial once this trial runs out the membership will vary in price per year depending on the age of your child https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/race-off-road

•     VOLUNTEERING - To run race nights and training nights we need volunteers, all positions are easy to do however there are a couple of positions such as the start gate and first berm that require you to have your level 1. I encourage everyone to complete this course, it is free and doesn't take too long but also teaches you a bit about BMX (AusCycling BMX Club Official Course) https://www.auscycling.org.au/page/sport-development/officials-education

•     RACE NIGHTS - link to register for Saturday nights will be posted on our Facebook page, if you have any issues please come and ask someone at training on Wednesday or make sure you arrive at the track before 5.30pm on Saturday so we can register you before racing.
