🙌 Volunteer Roles – What’s Involved Our club thrives on volunteer support to make race nights run smoothly! Without our awesome helpers, we simply can’t race. Role Descriptions; 🚦 Gate Starter (Accreditation required) - Push the button, drop the gate, and send riders flying! 📣 Bottom Stager (WWCC required) - Call riders up, organise gates, and keep things flowing smoothly. 🚩 Berm Crew (1, 2 & 4) -Front row seat to the action! Keep an eye on riders and throw the yellow flag if needed. ⛑ First Aider (Qualified) - Our trackside hero – ready to jump in when needed. 👶 Mini Wheelers Helpers -Help our littlest legends at the start hill & finish line – lots of smiles guaranteed! 🍔 Canteen Crew - Burgers, chips, toasties & drinks – fuel the riders and the crowd! ⚠️ Facilities / Rubbish Legends - Keep the track looking sharp – bins, toilets, and general tidy-up. 🏁 Track Prep: Ensure track is safe, smooth & race-ready. Sweep loose gravel & inspect surface before racing. All on-track volunteers must wear closed-in shoes and a high-visibility (yellow) vest (provided by the club). Volunteer Requirement: Families must volunteer at least 5 times per season (per rider) or 8 times per season (per family). This must include at least 1 canteen shift, plus participation in race meets, busy bees, or fundraising events to be eligible for end-of-season trophies.

🚴‍♂️ NWSS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🚴‍♀️ A well-run Northwest Super Series (NWSS) round relies on LOTS of volunteers 💥 Without our amazing helpers, we simply can’t race! To make it easier for everyone, all volunteering roles are split into 2 sessions: ⏱ Practice, Moto 1 & 2 | Moto 3–4, Finals This means you can still watch your kids race while helping out 🙌 Role Descriptions; 🚦 Gate Starter (Accreditation required) - Push the button, drop the gate, and send riders flying! 📣 Stagers (WWCC required) - Call riders up, organise gates, and keep things flowing smoothly. 🚩 Berm Crew (1, 2 & 4) - Front row seat to the action! 🍔🥤 Canteen Volunteers Needed – BMX Event 🍟🚴 It’s Northwest Super Series time—our busiest day of the year and our biggest fundraiser for the club 💥 Our canteen keeps riders, families, and spectators fuelled all day long—but we can’t do it without your help! 🙌 Volunteer Roles – What’s Involved Our club thrives on volunteer support. Without our amazing helpers, race day simply doesn’t happen. We’re looking for volunteers to assist in the canteen across the day — and don’t worry, you won’t miss all the action ⏱ Shifts are only 2 hours, so you can still watch plenty of racing while helping out 💪  No experience needed—just bring a friendly smile and willingness to help 💙 🙏 Thank you for supporting our club and riders—together we make it all happen!

Our club thrives on volunteer support to make race nights run smoothly! Without these roles being filled, we will be unable to race. Families must volunteer at least 5 times per season / rider or 8 times per season / family including 1 canteen nomination during race meets, busy bees, or fundraising events to qualify for of end-of-season trophy eligibility. Below is an overview of what is required of each volunteering position  Gate Starter - responsible for operating the start gate and ensuring each race begins smoothly and safely; Level 1 Auscycle required. Bottom Stager - calls out riders names and gates for each race at the bottom stage. Ensures consistent flow of riders to top staging; Working With Children required. Berm 1  - Stand trackside during racing and be ready to raise yellow flag if a rider falls; Level 1 Auscycle required. Berm 2 - Stand trackside during racing and be ready to raise yellow flag if a rider falls. Berm 4 - Stand trackside during racing and be ready to raise yellow flag if a rider falls. First Aider - current first aid qualification required. Assess and assist fallen riders on track. Canteen Helpers - Preparing and serving food such as burgers, hot chips, toasties etc, drinks, handling cash and EFTPOS, restocking items, and keeping the area clean and tidy Facilities / Rubbish Maintenance - ensure litter is collected and disposed of correctly. Swapping bins over to ensure no overflow or mess and ensuring the toilets aretidy, have enough loo paper, soap etc.  ALL ON TRACK VOLUNTEERS MUST WEAR CLOSED IN SHOES and a yellow vest (provided by the club).

A well run NWSS round, relies on lots of volunteers - so we need your help! Each volunteering spot is split into three sessions (Moto 1 - Moto 2, then Moto 3 - Moto 4 & Finals) this way you can still watch the kids race. Below is an overview of what is required of each volunteering position: Gate Starter - someone who has previous experience with this role.  First Aiders - current first aid qualification required. Assess and assist fallen riders on track. Volunteer Ambulance Officers will also be in attendance on the day and are available as back up for assessment and treatment of more serious injuries. Bottom Stager - calls out riders names and gates for each race at the bottom stage. Ensures consistent flow of riders to top staging. Communicates via radio with rego and top stager if riders missing or late. FINALS - liases with riders regarding gate selection. Top Stager - checks riders and gates, notifys Rego if a rider not in attendance. Keeps riders quiet at gate during racing. Yellow Flag - raise flag to notify others of a fallen rider on track. Rubbish Maintenance - ensure litter is collected and disposed of correctly. Swapping bins over to ensure no overflow or mess. Facilities Maintenance - ensuring the toilets remain tidy, have enough loo paper, soap etc. There will be transportable toilets over the other side of the track so this will include the normal ablution block as well as the transportables. Volunteer Assist - ensure that our volunteers and officials are well looked after - run water and offer assistance if needed. Raffle Table - sell raffle tickets at raffle table. ALL ON TRACK VOLUNTEERS MUST WEAR CLOSED IN SHOES and a yellow vest (provided by the club). Canteen volunteers are being managed seperately by Bec Hunt and Alira Tanner - please look out for posts from them calling for volunteers and/or liase directly with them if you are able to help in the canteen. We appreciate everyone's contribution towards the club and our riders and can't wait to see you all at our NWSS round!

🍔🥤 Canteen Volunteers Needed – BMX Event 🍟🚴 Our canteen is a huge part of keeping riders, families, and spectators fueled throughout the event – but we can’t run it without some extra hands! 🙌 We’re looking for volunteers to help out in the canteen across the day. Even if you can only spare a short time, it all adds up and makes a big difference. No experience needed – just a friendly smile and a willingness to help. 💙 Thank you for supporting our club and our riders – together we make these events possible!
